Production Manager Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya

Job Description

As the heart of our bakery’s operations, the Production Manager oversees and coordinates daily production across our Viennoiserie, Pastry, and Sourdough teams. This role ensures all orders — from retail to wholesale — are fulfilled on time and to our highest standards.

You’ll manage production schedules, lead quality control efforts, track output capacity, and act as the key bridge between our commercial and production teams. From ensuring flawless bakes to aligning teams and optimizing throughput, your leadership keeps our kitchen moving smoothly and consistently.

Job Responsibilities

Head Chef (Pastry / Baker) Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya

Job Description

We are looking for a pastry & baker head chef that can scale artisanal bread-baking & pastries that retains craftsmanship, quality, & accessibility. One who possesses the foresight on capacity optimisation, efficient oven schedules, & methodical planning.

In this role, you are instrumental in leading a young team of bakers & pastry chefs in creating a sustainable dialogue about artisanal bread-baking, comfort & technique-driven baked goods, as well as nurturing our bakers in developing their careers, participate in gearing our bakery from a single-store location to a multi-store brand, & develop processes that allow us to scale without compromising the artisanal qualities of a bakehouse. Of course, having prior experience of working in an artisanal bakery is a must.

More than just a seasoned bakers’ hand, you must also possess a desire for leadership & management – where your craft in baking is only as good as the hands that bake with you. You also aspire to change the industry for the better, paving career opportunities for those whose calling is in baking in this modern age.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day pastry & bakery sections.
  • Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs
  • Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time delivery/shipping
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
  • Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus
  • Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions
  • Share a trusting relationship with managers and team

Chef De Partie (Pastry / Baker) Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya

Job Description

Your primary role as a CDP is to participate in service & supervise stations under your care.

You will be required to maintain strong hygiene standards, organization your station, minimize wastage & optimize your mise en place.

You will also be required to communicate at a high level in-service with other team members.

You will be reporting directly to the Sous Chef & Management.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
  • Create new and exciting baked goods to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
  • Participate in the R&D execution assigned by your senior kitchen team.
  • Bake different bread types, like enriched doughs, sourdough, focaccia
  • Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and pies (e.g. chocolate ganache, caramel sauce and fruits)
  • Recommend recipes to renew menu and attract more customers (e.g. gluten-free or vegan desserts)
  • Track food supplies and place orders, as needed

Chef De Commis (Pastry / Baker) Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya

Job Description

As a Pastry/Baker Chef De Commis, this is your first taste of mastering the fundamentals of sourdough, viennoiserie & pastries. In this role, you will take a deep dive into mastery of techniques through repetition, maintaining consistency in the face of pressure, & learning how to be a team player. More than just being a workhorse, you will gain first-hand exposure of how team units collaborate & work.

Demonstrating genuine curiosity & tenacity on a daily basis will bring you to the next stage. You will be required to maintain strong hygiene standards, organization your station, minimize wastage & optimize your mise en place.

You will be reporting directly to the CDPs & Sous Chef.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in the bread-mixing & making of sourdough breads in volume
  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
  • Participate in the R&D execution assigned by your senior kitchen team
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
  • Ensure products are prepared to the highest quality set by the Company
  • Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
